Problem solving and improving systems for the betterment of his community inspires Yonas. A graduate of California State University San Bernardino, Yonas was introduced to the financial sector while studying business administration. After receiving a B.A. in accounting and finance, Yonas worked for a short stint as a financial auditor in the public accounting sector. Unsatisfied with the work pace and outputs from his role, he journeyed to Oregon in search of more fulfilling work. As a temporary accountant at CASA of Oregon — a statewide organization that focuses on providing equitable housing solutions for underserved Oregon residents — Yonas discovered a passion for improving community
