Xavier Freixes was appointed to the Supervisory Board in September 2011 and as Chairman with effect 1 January 2022. He is Founder and Director of Ashtree Strategic Advisors Ltd. Xavier started his career in 1995 as a practising lawyer at Cuatrecasas in Barcelona, where he became a partner in 2005. He moved to London in 2007 to become a Senior Mergers and Acquisitions Specialist at Deephaven Capital Management International Ltd, and later, Founding Partner, General Counsel and Chief Executive Officer of Tyrus Capital S.A.M. in Monaco.
