William “Bill” Higginbotham II was born in New Smyrna Beach, Fla. He received his undergraduate degree and completed his postgraduate accounting requirements at Stetson University in Deland, Fla. In 1992 he earned the CPA designation. Prior to joining Nemours in 2002, Mr. Higginbotham was a Senior Manager in KPMG’s Jacksonville and Nashville offices serving both health care and other not-for-profit audit clients. Mr. Higginbotham was appointed to the Nemours Executive Team in 2016 as Enterprise Vice President, Finance and Cost Containment; reporting to Rodney McKendree, Senior Vice President and Chief Financial Officer.
