Vyas Balasubramanian currently works at Colonial First State in the Investments team as Director - Investment Risk and Analytics. Prior to joining CFS, Vyas worked at MLC as a Senior Risk Partner within the Asset Management division, providing oversight, challenge, insight and advice with a particular focus on the Investment Teams. Vyas also worked at RF Capital, the private family office of the Roberts Family (the founding family of Multiplex). Vyas setup a quantitative hedge fund and was responsible for research and trading. In addition, he worked as an investment strategist covering asset allocation for the family's investments and was responsible for a global high conviction strategy.
