Valerie is a Certified Public Accountant. Valerie specializes in investment management, financial planning and retirement planning for high-net-worth individuals, families and retirees. Her experience includes managing investment portfolios in a tax-effective manner. She also specializes in working with multigenerational families, helping them continue their legacies of planning for their future and managing their wealth successfully from generation to generation. Prior to Mariner Wealth Advisors, Valerie cofounded RiverPoint Capital Management and served as its chairman. The firm joined forces with Mariner Wealth Advisors in 2012. She was also the managing director of Scudder, Stevens &a
