Trevor’s passion for workers’ compensation started 32 years ago as a case manager on the front line, working with people who were permanently injured and with the families of workers who were fatally injured. Working directly with injured workers, their families, employers and health care providers helped him understand firsthand the importance of the workers’ compensation system and the challenges its stakeholders face. This experience sparked his drive and a lifelong career committed to continually finding new ways to improve the workers’ compensation system—to help make workplaces safer and to make sure workers receive the care and support they need to recover when they’ve been hurt at
