Prior to joining Capital Creek, Travis spent several years as a private equity senior associate at the Teacher Retirement System of Texas (TRS) focusing on fund investments, co-investments, and direct investments. Travis began his career in New York with Citigroup as an investment banking analyst in the financial institutions group. Travis graduated with a BBA from Texas Christian University and an MBA from The University of Texas at Austin. Travis also played college baseball at TCU. Travis previously served on the TCU Transaction and Investment Professionals (TIP) Board. He and his wife serve in various leadership roles in the marriage ministry at their local church, The Austin Stone.
