Tom Mieczkowski is the Managing Director of Private Investments for the William and Flora Hewlett Foundation. He works closely with other members of the investment team to evaluate and select external fund managers, monitor their performance, and develop investment strategies. Prior to joining the foundation in 2014, Tom was at AlpInvest Partners focused on private equity and venture capital commitments in the Americas from 2011 to 2014. For the preceding three years, he focused on primary, secondary, and co-investments at Zurich Alternative Asset Management. Tom started his career in investment banking at Wachovia Securities.
