Timour oversees a global portfolio of fixed income hedge funds and multi-strategy funds. Prior to joining CPP Investments in 2019, Timour was a Director within the External Manager Search and Monitoring group at PSP Investments, covering a wide range of hedge fund strategies. Previously, he was a Principal at Diversified Global Asset Management, where he oversaw fixed income, credit and event-driven strategies. He also spent seven years on the sell side, focused on securitization and structured credit and began his career on an FX trading desk at Rosestbank. Timour holds a BA from the Russian Academy of Economics and an MBA from Wilfrid Laurier University. He is a CFA charterholder.
