Tim started his career in the engineer consulting industry originating several international patents for the marine and offshore oil industry. He entered the securities industry in 1985, joining Paine Webber where he met Jim Monroe. In January 1988, Jim and Tim became partners at Paine Webber. Their partnership thrived and they were recruited by Prudential Securities in 1992. In 1994, they left Prudential Securities to form Monroe Vos. His primary responsibilities are consulting to our clients and as Director of Research he manages asset allocation and optimization, the manager search process and performance measurement.
