Timm started investing when he was 14. After being accepted to the United States Naval Academy in 1996, he was able to use his college savings for investing. While others focused on “dot com” investments, he made his fortune investing in cyber security companies the “dot coms” all needed. At 20 years old, he was running investment portfolios for 31 officers and midshipmen. He was commissioned into the navy, earned a Bachelor of Science in Economics and became a Navy Pilot.
