Dunbar is responsible for strategy across Principal's Global Asset Management businesses, with a focus on broadening asset management offerings around the world, and expanding Principal’s client base across markets, customer segments and distribution channels. He has more than 30 years’ experience with Principal in global investment and pension operations, strategy and finance, most recently serving as chief investment officer and overseeing management and strategic direction of the mergers and acquisitions team.
