Thomas joined Penn’s Office of Investments in 2015 and manages the private equity investment program for the University’s endowment and pension plans. Prior to joining Penn, Thomas was a Principal Director and Partner at H.I.G. European Capital Partners, a leading global mid-market private equity firm he helped found. Thomas led and managed a large number of control equity and credit investments from 2007 to 2014. Previously, Thomas served as a private equity investor at Goldman Sachs Capital Partners. Prior to attending business school, Thomas was a private equity associate at Parthenon Capital, LLC and an investment banking analyst at Morgan Stanley
