Susan Phinney Silver is the Mission Investing Director at the David and Lucile Packard Foundation. She oversees the Foundation’s $250 million mission investing program, which targets a range of loan and equity investments in the fields of: environmental conservation, climate change, oceans/fisheries, U.S. health care access, international reproductive health and rights, children’s education and issues in the U.S., and local Bay Area initiatives.
