As the Managing Director of Alternative Investments and Head of Private Equity, Credit, and Co-investments at Prudential Financial, Susan Garrett oversees the management of Prudential's $10+ billion exposure global private equity portfolio. In her role, she successfully re-established the private equity program, bringing it in-house after it had been outsourced. Susan played a pivotal role in hiring a new team, determining portfolio strategy, and rebuilding infrastructure and reporting. Susan is actively involved in investing over $1.5 billion annually across various strategies, including buyout, credit, special situation, venture/growth, and infrastructure funds, as well as co-investments.
