Dr. Stephen Hawk serves as Principal & Senior Wealth Advisor at Kovitz Investment Group. He is a Senior Financial Advisor at Kovitz, focusing on client relationships and the macroeconomic outlook for the economy. he joined Kovitz as part of the acquisition of Northern Capital Management of Madison, Wisconsin in January of 2019. He was one of the original founders of Northern Capital Management and had previously been a Professor and Chairman of the Department of Finance at the Wisconsin School of Business at the University of Wisconsin-Madison. He earned his BBA, MBA, and Ph.D. degrees at Wisconsin prior to joining the faculty there in 1967. He is a Registered Investment Advisor with
