Sithu Thein Swe is a Senior Portfolio Manager at King Philanthropies, bringing a decade of experience in the nonprofit and social enterprise sector. Prior to joining King Philanthropies, Sithu held leadership roles that spanned operations, finance, and fundraising at Proximity Designs, a social enterprise serving smallholder farmers in his home country of Myanmar. Previously, he led consulting projects at Blue Garnet, where he supported nonprofits and foundations in Southern California in the areas of impact, strategy, and business planning. Sithu completed his master’s degree at the University of California, San Diego and his undergraduate studies at Bucknell University.
