Simeon Banister is the President and CEO of Rochester Area Community Foundation as of October 2022. In his prior role as Vice President of Community Programs, he managed the Community Programs Department, which is responsible for the Foundation’s grantmaking and community leadership. He serves as a President of the Greater Rochester Martin Luther King Jr. Commission and also serves on the boards of the University of Rochester Medical Center, the Congressional Award Foundation, The Children’s Agenda, and the Genesee Land Trust. He is a former member Rush-Henrietta Board of Education. His career spans across the public and private sectors having worked for organizations including in the NYS
