Sheryl founded TIAA-CREF’s Alternative Investment Group and during her tenure grew the portfolio to $13 billion in AUM through investments in private equity funds, direct co-investments, mezzanine debt, and timber. More recently, Sheryl has served as Managing Director at Caspian Private Equity and Senior Managing Director at Perseus. She currently serves as an Adjunct Professor at Fordham Business School, and is a board member of Cartesian Growth II, the Women’s Association of Venture and Equity (WAVE), and Peracs Advisory Board. Sheryl received her B.S. and M.B.A. from NYU’s Stern School of Business.
