Shannon began her career in public accounting and provided tax planning and preparation services to a wide variety of clients for over twenty years. In 2016, she joined Compton Wealth making the transition to financial services. After learning the industry, she discovered her interest in risk management and ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements. In addition to compliance, Shannon is responsible for overseeing company finances and Compton Wealth’s customized family office solutions. She earned a Bachelor of Science degree from the University of Virginia’s McIntire School of Commerce and is a licensed CPA. She is currently working toward becoming an Investment Adviser Certified Comp
