Seth Thomson is Deputy General Counsel for Commonfund and its subsidiaries. Seth has been a practicing attorney since 2008 and was previously an associate at Proskauer Rose in the Private Investment Funds Group in Boston. Prior to his legal career, Seth was an actuarial assistant at a leading U.S. based surplus lines insurer in Boston. Seth holds a B.A. in Philosophy of Politics & Law from the State University of New York at Binghamton and J.D. from Boston University School of Law.
