Sean Smith is a Portfolio Manager at the firm. In his current role, Sean focuses on public and private investing. Prior to joining Perot, Sean spent five years at Elliott Management in New York. At Elliott, he focused on public and private investing in the technology, media and telecom sectors. Before Elliott, Sean spent two years at Highland Capital, investing all across the capital structure in a variety of industries. A native of Texas, Sean graduated from The University of Texas at Austin with a BBA and MPA in Accounting. In his spare time, Sean enjoys fitness, golf and spending time with his wife and two sons.
