Scott Murphy is a 29-year veteran of the investment advisory industry. He has been an executive member of the Tufton Capital Management team since 1997. Prior to his post as VP and Portfolio Manager at Hardesty, Murphy served as Portfolio Manager in the Institutional Equity Department of the Trust Division at Mercantile-Safe Deposit and Trust Company. Holding a BA from Towson University, Scott went on to receive his MBA from the University of Baltimore, where he served on the Dean’s Advisory Council of the Robert G.
