Scott Mootz joined Investure’s Investment team in 2019 and will be principally involved in fund strategy, portfolio implementation, and asset allocation. Prior to Investure, Scott spent 12 years at the Virginia Retirement System, managing a variety of fixed income portfolios on the internal fixed income team and serving on multiple cross-asset committees. Scott holds Bachelor of Arts degrees in Economics and Psychology from the University of Virginia and a Master of Business Administration from the Fuqua School of Business at Duke University, where he graduated as a Fuqua Scholar. He holds the Chartered Financial Analyst designation and is a member of the CFA Institute. Scott currently se
