Prior to Pinehill, Sampson was a Director at Citadel Investment Group and Merrill Lynch involved in the sourcing, evaluation, due diligence, valuation, structuring, negotiation, documentation and management of investments in the Asia-Pacific region (he also led the firms' principal investment efforts in Australia). Prior to that, Sampson was an investment banker at Morgan Stanley. Sampson previously held board directorships in Cgen Digital Media and China Hydro. Sampson holds a Bachelor of Commerce Degree from the University of Melbourne.
