Sam Austin, based in Redwood City, California, manages NEPC's Western Region public fund consulting activities. For 32 years, Sam has offered consulting advice to public fund, corporate, multi-employer, endowment and eleemosynary clients. In 2020, he was elected by his fellow Partners to represent them on NEPC's Executive Committee. Sam also serves as Chair of the firm's Diversity & Inclusion Board, Co-Chair of the Diverse Manager Committee and a member of the Impact Investing Committee. Prior to joining the Partnership at NEPC in 2017, Sam was a Senior Vice President at FIS Group (now Xponance) for five years, where he advised pension clients on the portion of their asset allocation
