Russ has led Long Beach-headquartered Halbert Hargrove Global Advisors for more than four decades. In January 2022, he handed the firm’s CEO responsibilities to JC Abusaid. As Executive Chairman, Russ continues to pursue the “big questions” – including an intense focus on helping people enjoy well-lived todays and tomorrows. Russ has contributed his time, expertise and energies to community initiatives for many years. He served two terms as Chair of the Long Beach Memorial Medical Center, Community Hospital of Long Beach, and Miller Children’s Hospital Governing Boards.
