I am currently the President of the Global Growth and Opportunity division at the Gates Foundation. I spent nearly 20 years establishing and growing sustainable organizations in the emerging markets of Africa and Eastern Europe. Working in some of the poorest countries of the world, I applied practical solutions using advanced technical, academic, and professional research subsequently adopted by hundreds of thousands of households and communities.
