Robert Mehrabian is an Armenian-American materials scientist who has been the Chairman, President and Chief Executive​ Officer of Teledyne Technologies Incorporated (TDY) since 2000 except for a brief period, January 1, 2019, to October 15, 2021, when he assumed the position of Executive Chairman. He was President and Chief Executive Officer from 1999 to 2000. Mehrabian held various Senior Executive positions at Allegheny Teledyne Incorporated (ATI) starting in July 1997, prior to the spin-off of Teledyne Technologies Incorporated in November 1999.
