Robert founded Manchester Financial in 1990. Prior to founding Manchester, Robert was the Associate Treasurer at Pepperdine University. He was responsible for the University's corporate finance function including cash and debt management, as well as the institution's $250 million investment portfolio, which required him to be involved in asset allocation, portfolio analysis and manager evaluation, as well as house investments for major donors. From 1991 through 2003, Robert also served as an Adjunct Professor at Pepperdine, where he taught investment, accounting, and finance courses.
