Rick Matthews, CPA, is Chief Financial Officer. Before joining the community foundation staff in 2019, he was a capital partner at Dixon Hughes Goodman LLP. He earned a bachelor of science degree in business administration with a concentration in accounting from the University of Nevada Las Vegas. He is a member of the Virginia Society of Public Accountants, Tidewater Chapter of Certified Public Accountants and American Institute of Certified Public Accountants.
