Randal is currently a Senior Portfolio Manager at Avenue Capital responsible for assisting with the direction of the investment activities of the Firm’s global funds. He also provides the investment professionals of the Avenue U.S. Strategy with additional expertise, oversight and investment direction on restructurings and transactions (including M&A, equity and debt transactions for investments and portfolio companies.) He previously managed the investment activities of the Avenue Trade Claims funds and in addition he previously was responsible for a variety of more structured and negotiated investments including bridge loans, second liens and direct investments.
