Philippe l’Equilbec is a Managing Director and Head of the Investor Strategy and Solutions team. He is based in New York. Prior to joining TRG in November 2015, Mr. l’Equilbec was managing Business Development at QFR Capital Management, L.P., a NY-based global macro, emerging markets-focused, hedge fund. Mr. l’Equilbec has over 30 years of experience in emerging markets, including senior roles at several investment banks in EM fixed income trading and marketing. Mr. l’Equilbec received a Post-Graduate Degree (DEA) in Applied Economics from the Fondation Nationale des Sciences Politiques, Paris, an M.A. in Economics from Georgetown University and a B.A. in Economics and Finance from Sciences-
