Before joining the foundation, Phil was a Principal at Kaltroco, a large family office based in Europe with a presence in San Francisco. At Kaltroco, Phil co-led the buildout of a private equity and venture platform, investing in companies throughout North America and Europe. Previously, Phil spent a number of years at Trilantic Capital Partners, a growth-oriented private equity firm based in New York. Phil has sourced and executed early-stage, growth, and buyout transactions across multiple industries and has held several company board of director roles.
