Peter Dolan, a Managing Director, oversees investments on Makena’s Private Equity team, including venture capital. Prior to joining Makena, Peter served as a Managing Director at the Harvard Management Company, where he oversaw the private equity and venture capital portfolio. Prior to joining the Harvard Management Company in 1995, he worked as a consultant at Cambridge Associates and as a private equity analyst at Liberty Mutual Insurance Company. Peter served as a board member of the University of Virginia Investment Management Company for a ten-year period ending June 2012. Peter holds an M.B.A. from the Darden School at the University of Virginia, and a B.A. in Economics from Harvard
