Peter Cashion was named Managing Investment Director for Sustainable Investments in March 2023. In his role, Peter sets the vision, strategy, and governance for CalPERS’ sustainability work. He’s also responsible for leading all aspects of the fund’s efforts to develop and implement a financially driven sustainability-based research and data framework to support sustainable investment integration throughout the investment decision-making process across the CalPERS portfolio.
