Paul Kanago was born and raised in Yankton, SD where he quarterbacked the 1976 undefeated State Champion Yankton Buck football squad. He is a 1981 Summa Cum Laude Graduate of Jamestown College (now Jamestown University) in Jamestown, ND where he earned his BA in Business Administration. He started his Financial Services Career with IDS Financial Services in Canton, SD in 1981. He moved with IDS/American Express Financial Advisors to Columbia in 1986, also the year he earned his Certified Financial Planner designation (CFP).
