Paul worked in municipal management for many years prior to joining A.G. Edwards in 1983. During his career at A.G. Edwards, he worked in the capacity of Branch Manager. Paul and his sister, Jane, focus on pre-retirement and retirement management and income planning. Paul attended undergraduate school at Washington Lee University followed by post-graduate work at Boston University School of Law.
