Paola Bazán is an investment officer in the Large Companies Division of IDB Invest. Paola joined the IDB in 2008, where she has worked on structuring long-term debt financing in agribusiness and biofuels operations in Latin America and the Caribbean, with special attention to crop production, dairy, renewable energy and energy efficiency. Before joining the IDB Group, Paola held positions in the corporate finance area in several international companies in South America belonging to the insurance, mining and telecommunications sectors. He has an MBA in finance from George Washington University and a bachelor's degree in business administration from the University of Piura, Peru.
