Palmer joined LourdMurray as a managing partner and co-chief executive officer in October 2012. Prior to joining LourdMurray, he was an executive director at Morgan Stanley Private Wealth Management from 1997–2012 and senior vice president at TCW from 1992–1997. He is on the advisory board of KIPP Schools, Los Angeles, and vice president and treasurer of the Otis Booth Foundation. He has a Master's degree from the University of Southern California (1991) and a Bachelor's degree in Economics from University of Texas at Austin (1987). He is a native of Houston, Texas and the father of three children.
