Nimai grew up in Los Angeles and from a young age began learning investment strategies from his father, a stock broker at the time and now a CPA. In addition he gained valuable personal financial insight from his mother, a banker. He graduated from the University of California, San Diego with a Bachelors degree in Economics and a minor in European History. Immediately, he began work as a financial advisor in San Diego. Within 6 months Nimai was promoted to a management position, where he developed a team of 14 advisors to implement a client financial planning model through education and financial empowerment.
