Nick Hamwee joined Quaero Capital LLP in 2013. Nick Hamwee began his career in 1986 as a US Equity Analyst at Capel-Cure Myers. In 1990 he joined Lombard Odier where he managed a broad mandate of US Equity Portfolios, and as Head of US Equities had primary responsibility for all US institutional equity portfolio management across the group. Through that period Nick delivered a five year audited top-decile return. In 1995 Nick joined Sanford Bernstein & Co in New York, from where he developed relationships with many of the leading UK & European financial institutions and significantly built up the firm’s equity franchise in Europe.
