As Senior Vice-President, Equity and Alternative Investments, Nelson oversees all externally managed mandates across public equities and alternative investment strategies, including real estate, infrastructure, private equity, private debt and hedge funds. He is a longstanding member of the Investment Committee (IC), and an active member of TCC’s Executive Committee. Prior to joining the team in 2009, Nelson worked as a consultant and director of investments for several institutions. He brings over 25 years of experience in establishing investment policies, selecting and monitoring third-party investment managers, as well as making asset allocation decisions.
