I was raised in a small, rural town (Cut-N-Shoot, TX) by a high school English teacher and a small-business owner and completed an accelerated course of studies to graduate 5th in my class at sixteen years old. My high school experience was shaped by the Global Financial Crisis, which caused several of my friends’ parents to lose their jobs and homes. The discovery that these circumstances were ignited by irrational exuberance seeded a desire to dedicate my life to the responsible stewardship of assets. To this end, I assist in constructing uncorrelated, defensive portfolios capable of generating returns from income and appreciation to fund the retirement, disability, and death benefits of b
