Mona grew up in Killeen, Texas near Ft. Hood military base, an hour north of Austin. She earned her master’s degree in international business from The Fletcher School at Tufts University and has had an array of career experiences. Mona brings knowledge in market forecasting, financial analysis and business planning to The Colorado Trust. From VRBO to Converse to American Airlines to Emancipet, a nonprofit network of veterinary clinics serving low-income neighborhoods, she has now landed in the philanthropy world of Colorado. Mona enjoys a sunny day on the golf course, trying to find the best tacos in Denver, shenanigans and traveling with her partner.
