Mike Trimberger is a partner and serves as chief financial officer of William Blair. Prior to assuming the CFO role in July 2023, he spent eight years as senior director—finance where he worked with all areas of the business while managing the firm’s finance functions on a day-to-day basis. Prior to joining the finance team in 2015, he spent eight years as a member of the investment banking team in transaction-related and management roles. Before rejoining William Blair in 2007, Mike spent seven years in private equity at Svoboda Capital Partners. He began his career as an Analyst in William Blair's investment banking team.
