Mick Elfers, began his finance career in 1980 and over the past 35 years has worked with Piper Jaffray & Hopwood (1980-84), Shearson Lehman Brothers (1984-1989) and was one of the original investors in the start-up firm of Ragen MacKenzie in 1989, a Seattle based brokerage firm. Ragen MacKenzie was taken public in 1995 and finally purchased by Wells Fargo Bank in 2000. Mick left Wells Fargo in 2008 to found Irvington Capital LLC focused primarilyy on long/short investment strategies. Mick graduated from the University of Oregon in 1978 with a BBA in Business Administration and Finance.
