Mr. Sacks is GCM Grosvenor’s Board Chairman and Chief Executive Officer. Mr. Sacks joined GCM Grosvenor in 1990 and was named CEO in 1994. Under his leadership, GCM Grosvenor grew from its position as an early participant in a cottage industry to its current position as one of the largest open architecture alternative asset management platforms. Mr. Sacks is engaged civically, serving on a number of nonprofit boards. Mr. Sacks graduated from Tulane University with his Bachelor of Science in Economics and holds a general course certificate from the London School of Economics. In addition, he holds a Master of Business Administration from the Kellogg Graduate School of Management at Northweste
