Mr. Laven is chief executive officer, a shareholder, and a member of Canterbury’s Board of Directors. He is also an investment consultant working primarily with endowments, foundations, and family offices on asset management and governance matters. Mr. Laven also serves on the Canterbury Outsourced CIO Committee, as well as the Global Equity and Private Equity Manager Research Committees. Prior to joining Canterbury in 1995, he was in charge of asset allocation consulting in the Western U.S. for corporate retirement services division of CIGNA Corporation.
