Mr. Douglass joined Gerber Taylor in 1994 and focuses on developing and executing the investment philosophy and manager selection of the Gerber Taylor funds, as well as, overseeing their day-to-day operations. Prior to Gerber Taylor, he was an attorney with the office of Chief Counsel at the Internal Revenue Service in Washington, D.C., and prior to that, he was a senior tax consultant with Ernst & Young. Mr. Douglass received a B.A. from the University of Mississippi, a J.D. from the University of Memphis, and a LL.M. in Taxation from Georgetown University Law Center, where he graduated with Distinction. Mr. Douglass is a licensed attorney (inactive status) and a former CPA.
